Engagement Ring Design
I found someone very special to me. She's beautiful, kind, and will kick your butt in Super Smash Bros! I had known I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her for some time, but before I was ready to ask for her hand in marriage, I needed a ring as fun, beautiful, and awesome as she is.
In February of 2022 I started on the design process. After a while of brainstorming and looking at inspiration, I took my ideas to CustomMade - they helped me refine the design and they crafted the perfect ring.

I started with the center stone - a Sapphire - as blue is her favorite color and it's her birthstone. Next I wanted to reference our favorite video game series, The Legend of Zelda, using the six emeralds to make up the Triforce, an iconic symbol from the series. The ring is made of wrapping vines/branches with diamonds in the leaves.
On the inside, there is an engraving of both Pennsylvania and Virginia with a dotted line connecting both our hearts. And finally, on the bottom of the gemstone setting is a cross to represent the foundation of our relationship.

Engraved is the symbolism of our love crossing from PA to VA.
The green emeralds are in the shape of the Triforce from The Legend of Zelda game series! Yes, we are nerdy and embrace it (subtly though)!
Had a cross added under the gemstones to signify our foundation being built on Christ.
With the help of our friends and family, I was able to give my now fiancé an unforgettable proposal.
Anna's parents and brother were close by.
