Lifeway Worship Bumper |  2020  |  Lifeway Church
Role: Producer | Cinematographer | Editor
Mark Bilik, Andrei Belousov and I were tasked with creating an awesome and engaging worship bumper that shows everything the church focuses on. This succinct film plays twice every Sunday and allows those new to the church to grasp what it's all about even before the message starts.
I worked on the planning of this video - creating the shot lists and nailing the theme and feel even before picking up a camera. Once we  got a variety of footage, I edited the final piece together with a focus on people. Nearly every shot has church members at the center - intentionally celebrating how Lifeway brings those in the Lebanon area closer to each other and God.
With high energy, beautiful imagery, and colorful lighting - all pointing to the theme of connection in the church body - this video is one of my all-time favorites.
Father's Day Video |  2019  |  Lifeway church
Role: Editor
Celebrating fatherhood - that's the core of this piece. We sat down and interviewed five fathers who attend Lifeway Church. Although they all come from different walks of life, the bonds to their children and to their heavenly father bring them together.
I was tasked with structuring a strong narrative out of the raw interviews. Taking five different perspectives on fathering and melding them together (while making each individual stand-out) was a challenging task. I achieved that by focusing on their different experinces - and honing in on the emotional moments of becoming, being, and growing as a father.
This piece always tugs on my heart strings.
Life Group Promos |  2020  |  Lifeway church
Role: Director | Editor
I was approached to direct and edit three succinct films to garner interest in Lifeway's Small Groups initiative. I worked with the church's creative video team to rewrite their concepts, direct the cast and crew and bring these three stories to life. With strong visuals, my quirky brand of humor, and a message that "life is better together," these shorts led to many more signups!
Who knew doing sound design for a fish would be so much fun?
