Daniel and Kylee Cole's Wedding Highlight Film was the second wedding I shot with Mark Bilik, but the first I edited together for Mark's company, Modern Media.
We had a blast shooting this wedding together! From the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready for the occasion, the ceremony, all the way to the crazy uncle dancing at the reception, I made sure to get every shot with cinematic beauty in the forefront of my mind. And of course to make the bride and groom look great on their big day!
When it came to editing the piece, I had freedom in structuring how I wanted to tell their wedding story. I opted to do a back-and-forth between the bride and groom motif, as I view marriage as a team effort. I wanted to show them coming together leading-up to the ceremony and then being united under God and each other.
While they didn't have a layered cake, they did have Duck Donuts! I highly recommend!
