Simple Funerals reached out to Mandee Media and Create | JustRight for a commercial for their new funeral services. However, they didn't want a standard run-of-the-mill commercial... they tapped my creative talent and vision to have short cinematic and emotional film to focus on their real service for people - care and support.
Based on a real life story, I wrote a 3 minute fictional narrative revolving around a widow's memories of her recently departed husband. As she is lost in the grief, Simple Funerals' director Josh Keith steps in and helps her deal with the funeral preparations with a professional and kind manner.
With a great performance by Chris Wert (director at Sight and Sound Theaters, For The Bells Toll) and actor in the film, For the Bells Toll. It was a great experience getting to work with him and his wife to bring this story to life!
