Love and hate is something we all must balance in our hearts, however Erin and Jim show what happens when that balance becomes warped. Follow these two lost souls as they go through a dark night that will test both of them.
I was hired by Wandering Studios to direct this dark screenplay written by Matthew Rutowski. After working to clean-up the script a bit (and tone it down somewhat), I brought the story to life. Working with Alex Siwik, we developed the contrasty yellow lighting and dark tones of the visuals to help show the twisted world of the characters on screen.
As the first production I directed outside of a class project, it was an awesome learning experience - having an actual crew and cast to work with showed me just how collaborative filmmaking actually is.
