Hey! I'm Justin Gathright, Filmmaker and Content Creator.
Over the last six years I've built my creative practice on making awesome narrative-driven short films, commercials, and all matter of video content. I've been able to make entertaining and deeply resonating work while honing my skills on dozens of projects for churches, film studios, and small businesses.
When it comes to filmmaking I embrace every part of my craft, from writing and rewriting the scripts, channeling the creative vision for a project as a director, capturing beautiful cinematography, and sequencing it all together through editing.
I believe if you're not entertained by what you create, who else will be? So, I channel my love of all things pop-culture and my fun semi-surreal style to bring life to the stories I choose to tell through narrative film, vlogs, or podcasts.
In short, I make content that I would love to watch.
I don't want to just make work I enjoy, though. I want to make work that will light others up! So now I'm exploring new parts of my creative practice through Create | JustRight - the brand that I'm developing as a content creator. But it's more than that, you know? It's a way for me to take all the awesome things that I love in life and connect to others who share the same values of the hero's journey, fun, and exploring what makes the creative process so alluring and awesome!
I'm also branching out to content focused on designing a 2D side-scroller video game, diving into the world of tabletop hobbies, and micro-short films!
My goal is to grow my creative practice to enrich people's lives.
I'm also a Christian, an avid gamer, and a cat person. I strive to put God first in my life as I believe creativity is my strongest gifting from Him and I want to use that to tell awesome stories that bring some much needed positivity to the world.
